Stairlift cost is determined by the model, length of staircase, location, and desired options. Straight stairlifts start between $3,500-$5,500 installed and can increase depending upon the model chosen or options added. Curved stairlifts start at $11,000, with prices dependent upon the staircase length, number of turns from top to bottom and chosen options.

Stairlifts attach directly to the stairs using different types of brackets. The number of supports will vary depending on the length of rail and number of curves.

This will depend on which lift you order. Indoor straight stairlifts can generally be installed within a few hours and indoor curved stairlifts within a day. Stairlifts are simply plugged in to an existing household outlet. A transformer reduces the power requirements to a minimum, constantly charging two 12-volt batteries that power the stairlift.

All Bruno stairlifts are battery-operated. Thus, in the event of a power failure, they will continue to work for up to 10 cycles (up and down your stairs) before needing to be re-charged. The battery receives a continuous charge while parked to ensure maximum battery availability in the event of a power outage.
