My stairlift isn’t moving
Is the stairlift plugged into the outlet?
Confirm that the stairlift is plugged into a working outlet. If the outlet is connected to a wall switch, check that the wall switch is powered on.
Is the key turned to the ON position?
The key must be in the ON position for the stairlift to operate.
Is the stairlift locked in the ride position?
The armrests and footrest must be fully folded down for the stairlift to operate.
Is the battery charged?
Check the battery status by looking at the lights on the stairlift charger.

My stairlift is beeping
Single beep: This is typically an indicator of an obstruction. Check for obstructions on the staircase/rail as well as near the stairlift armrests and footrest.
Continuous beep: This is a charging issue alert. Check that the charger is plugged into the wall and stairlift sits fully on the charging station. If the outlet is connected to a wall switch, check that the wall switch is powered on.
My remote control doesn’t work
Check and replace the batteries if necessary.

My Stiltz Lift isn’t moving
Is the lift plugged into the outlet?
Confirm that the lift is plugged into a working outlet. If the outlet is connected to a wall switch, check that the wall switch is powered on.
Did the power go off?
Wait until the main power is restored or switch it back on at the fuse switch.
Are gate doors securely closed?
Gate doors must be securely closed at the top and bottom for the lift to operate
Are there any obstructions in the lifts path?
Check for any obstructions under or above the lift.
Is the key turned to the ON position?
The key must be in the ON position for the stairlift to operate.
Has the emergency stop button been pressed?
Ensure that the emergency stop button is raised.

Is there an obstruction under the lift car?
The lift will not go down if there is an obstruction in its path.
My Stiltz Lift will only travel down
Is the main power off?
This can occur when the main power is off and the lift is operating on the emergency battery. Wait until the main power is restored before using.
Is there an obstruction on the safety cover?
Observed safely from the upper floor, the safety cover should appear level. An uneven or tilting safety cover could interrupt the lift traveling up.

Vertical Platform Lift (VPL)
My Vertical Platform Lift isn’t moving
Is there power to the outlet?
Ensure that you have power to the outlet and that the breaker on the side of the tower has not been tripped. Confirm by firmly pressing the breaker all the way in.
Is the key turned to ON position?
Confirm that the key is turned to the ON position and check that the emergency stop button is pulled out. Push the button in firmly and pull it out to ensure that it was not tripped.
Are there any obstructions in the lifts path?
Check for any obstructions under or above the lift.
Are gate doors securely closed?
Gate doors must be securely closed at the top and bottom for the lift to operate
Is the battery charged?
Check that the light indicators on the charger are illuminated.

Properly lubricating the camshaft will resolve this issue.
My scooter lift won't go up or down all the time.
This intermittent issue is typically an indicator that the rocker switch in the upper motor assembly needs to be replaced.
